About The Position

The Brewista prepares and serves drinks while providing friendly, attentive customer service. The role includes taking and entering orders, processing payments, preparing drinks and premixes, and helping customers choose drinks that match their preferences. Brewistas are expected to work with urgency, stay productive during slower periods, support teammates, and maintain a safe, clean work environment. The schedule is flexible and may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions.
• Ability to work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
• Ability to work outdoors for prolonged periods regardless of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on one's feet for hours at a time.
• Ability to climb a ladder and use a stepladder.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to stock and clean.
• Ability to walk safely between and around cars in the drive-thru line.

• Ability to quickly and cleanly operate any position in the stand during peak hours.
• Ability to maintain awareness of shift operations while working a position.
• Ability to address operational, procedural, or cultural issues with teammates assertively and graciously.
• Ability to adapt to problems and implement solutions during stressful situations.
• Availability for a flexible schedule that may include early mornings at 5 a.m. and late nights at 11:30 p.m.
• Regular weekend availability and availability to work holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Confirm drink orders with customers and enter orders accurately into the point-of-sale system.
• Collect payments and accurately count back change.
• Prepare drinks and premixes.
• Work with a sense of urgency and remain productive and proactive throughout the shift, including during slow periods.
• Build genuine connections with customers through warm, positive interactions and body language.
• Learn the menu and drink offerings and help customers identify suitable drinks, offering recommendations when appropriate.
• Maintain appropriate personal hygiene, clothing, hair, and makeup for the assigned position.
• Follow shift-change duties and checklists, complete weekly chores, and stay on task as needed.
• Be clocked in and ready at the assigned position when the shift begins.
• Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and sanitation regulations.
• Work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
