About The Position
The Breakfast Server is responsible for performing various tasks to the highest standards to ensure a positive dining experience for guests. This includes preparing tables, maintaining cleanliness of dining areas and stations, assisting with food service, and responding to guest inquiries and requests.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
- Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
- Will be required to regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals.
- Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Previous background from the hospitality industry preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, and serving water.
- Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair.
- Stock, maintain, and clean designated food station(s) / server station(s).
- Assist food server(s) with table service, including serving beverages, bread and butter.
- Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
- Clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
