About The Position

The server provides excellent customer service while preparing food and drinks for guests and maintaining brand standards. The role maintains a clean and safe work environment in accordance with food safety guidelines, operates the point-of-sale system, and helps guests with information about the local area, including nightlife and entertainment. The server anticipates guest needs and works to create a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills and a stable work history.
• Ability to work an entire shift on your feet at a quick pace and stand and walk for long periods.
• Flexibility to work any shift as needed, including weekends.
• Knowledge of basic drink recipes, bar equipment, and safety rules for kitchen equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot environment.
• Ability to express compassion while remaining composed and stay calm and focused under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably six months of food and beverage service experience.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, attentive service; anticipate guest needs, answer questions, respond promptly, and resolve complaints.
• Know the property’s location and amenities, as well as local attractions and activities, to answer guest inquiries.
• Complete required brand-specific training as directed by the Restaurant Manager and complete health and safety training.
• Adhere to property and brand standards and know fire alarm and evacuation procedures.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with brand standards and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked workspace and follow food safety guidelines.
• Perform other tasks as necessary to meet or exceed guest satisfaction.
• Represent the property positively, demonstrate a proactive, guest-focused attitude, and respect diversity and multicultural environments.
