About The Position

Wyndham Bloomington MOA Hotel is seeking a Breakfast Host to coordinate breakfast service and maintain a clean, stocked breakfast area. The role requires providing excellent customer service while interacting with guests and working as part of a team. The host must be available to start at 4 a.m. and work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Because the hotel operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day, schedules may vary according to business needs. A hospitable service atmosphere must be maintained at all times.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with employees and guests.
Organizational skills.
Availability to start at 4 a.m.
Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work varying schedules according to hotel business needs.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and thank them for their patronage.
Set up breakfast stations.
Cook food and maintain appropriate quantities of food and beverages at hot, cold, and beverage stations during breakfast hours.
Keep the breakfast area clean and stocked.
Interact pleasantly with guests during the shift.
Put away breakfast service items at the end of the shift.
Clean the kitchen and breakfast area at the end of the shift.
Perform routine daily tasks listed on the daily checklist.
Maintain knowledge of the hotel’s facilities and amenities.
Communicate verbally and in writing with guests and employees.
Assist guests as needed to ensure a positive experience.
Perform other tasks as requested by the direct supervisor or other hotel management staff.
