About The Position

The Embassy Suites by Hilton near the Charlotte Airport is hiring a part-time Breakfast Cook to prepare and serve the daily complimentary breakfast. The cook greets guests and helps ensure their satisfaction. The schedule is 5 a.m. to 12 p.m., with weekday and weekend availability required; the breakfast area must be set up by 6 a.m. Employees work primarily indoors in a customer-facing environment and may need to work any hours or days required by business needs.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing position.
Ability to arrive on time as scheduled and work the early morning shift.
Professional demeanor and appearance, with effective communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with associates and guests.
Basic knowledge of the proper use, maintenance, and cleaning of industrial kitchen equipment, and of food preparation.
Fluency in English, including the ability to speak, hear, read, and write.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
ServSafe Certification.

Responsibilities

Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards.
Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
Know the menu and food products.
Stock and maintain designated food stations.
Visually inspect food sent from the kitchen.
Follow proper food handling and storage procedures in accordance with federal, state, local, and company regulations.
Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items as needed.
