About The Position

The Breakfast Attendant oversees the breakfast area for hotel guests, prepares food and beverages for breakfast service, and maintains a clean kitchen and dining area. The role involves interacting with guests, asking about their stay, answering questions about the hotel and surrounding area, and creating a warm, welcoming experience. The position requires professionalism, organization, communication skills, and attention to detail. The schedule is part time, between 5:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., with weekend and holiday availability required.

Requirements

Friendly, dynamic individual who enjoys working with people.
High school degree or equivalent required.
Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to work between 5:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel or food service experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Day/morning shift availability preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and break down food service.
Clean equipment and work areas.
Prepare breakfast food and beverage items and set out hot and cold foods in accordance with food safety regulations.
Replenish food and beverage items during the meal period and keep items fully stocked.
Ensure foods are maintained at safe temperatures.
Bus and clean tables.
Greet guests as they arrive for breakfast and build friendly rapport.
Create a warm and welcoming experience for guests.
Resolve problems when possible and promptly report complaints or issues to management.
Walk and stand continually in a fast-paced environment.
