About The Position

The Breakfast Attendant oversees the breakfast area at the Home2 Suites by Hilton in Queensbury, New York. The role includes preparing and serving breakfast food and beverages, maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area, and providing guests with a friendly, welcoming experience. The attendant interacts with guests, asks about their stay, answers questions about the hotel and surrounding area, resolves problems when able, and promptly reports complaints or issues to management. This is a part-time position. Weekend, early-morning, and holiday availability is required. The attendant must be able to work between 5:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The work takes place in a fast-paced environment that involves continual walking and standing.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent required.
Must be available to work between 5:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Early-morning, weekend, and holiday availability required.
Ability to continually walk and stand in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel or food service experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
Day or morning shift availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and break down food service.
Clean all equipment and work areas.
Prepare breakfast food and beverages and set out hot and cold food items in accordance with food safety regulations.
Replenish food and beverage items during the meal period and keep items fully stocked.
Ensure foods are kept at safe temperatures.
Bus and clean tables.
Greet guests as they arrive for breakfast and build a friendly rapport.
Create a warm and welcoming experience for guests.
Resolve problems when able and report complaints or issues promptly to management for resolution.
Answer guest questions about the hotel and the surrounding area.
