Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean dining room, service area, and food and beverage hallways, depending on hotel design.
• Provide professional, competent, and prompt service with attention to guest needs.
• Arrive at work in uniform with a smile and a can-do attitude.
• Restock food and supplies as needed to ensure consistent service.
• Clean the area continuously so guests receive the same experience regardless of when they arrive for breakfast.
• Be knowledgeable about the local area and engage guests in conversation about their plans for the day.
• Provide guests with information about local services and destinations, such as grocery stores, the post office, highways, and entertainment.
• Communicate guest concerns requiring attention to management.
