About The Position

The Breakfast Attendant welcomes guests in the concierge lounge, connects guests with hotel departments, supports reservations and special requests, and provides information about hotel and local services and attractions. The role also maintains the concierge lounge and kitchenette, including cleaning floors, furniture, and surfaces and clearing dirty dishes and glasses. The job description also lists physical requirements for an in-office role, including prolonged desk and computer work, occasional standing and walking, and the ability to lift or move 10–25 pounds as needed.

• Ability to work in a standard office environment, including prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (6–8 hours a day).
• Frequent fine motor skills and use of hands and fingers for keyboarding, using a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, or carry items.
• Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed.
• Visual ability to read computer screens and printed materials, including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation for certain roles.
• Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings and use a phone and/or headset.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests in the concierge lounge within two minutes of arrival.
• Act as a liaison between guests and hotel departments by making reservations and following up on special requests.
• Maintain information about hotel and local services and attractions, recommend options to guests, and suggestively sell hotel amenities and services.
• Clean the concierge lounge throughout the shift, pick up dirty dishes and glasses, and maintain the kitchenette, including cleaning floors, furniture, and surfaces.
