About The Position

The Breakfast Attendant prepares and maintains the breakfast area before, during, and after service. The role includes setting out food and beverages, keeping items replenished and at safe temperatures, assisting guests, maintaining cleanliness, and completing food safety and service documentation. Compensation is $12.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Arrive before service opens and set up the breakfast area by staging food, filling warmers, brewing coffee, and preparing the juice station.
• Monitor food temperatures, replace depleted items, and check hot-holding equipment throughout service.
• Continuously replenish breakfast items, including eggs, pastries, cereals, fruit, yogurt, and hot beverages.
• Clear used dishes and utensils, wipe surfaces, and reset seating areas during service.
• Keep the breakfast area clean and sanitary, promptly addressing spills and messes.
• Answer guest questions about food items, ingredients, and common allergens.
• Follow health code requirements, including date labeling, temperature logging, and proper food handling.
• Restock disposable items, napkins, condiments, and food inventory from storage.
• Break down the breakfast area after service by discarding expired items, cleaning equipment, and securing storage.
• Complete opening and closing checklists, temperature logs, and required food safety documentation.
