About The Position

The Brand Representative (Sales Associate) drives revenue and provides guests with exceptional service through relationship building, product knowledge sharing, and maintaining a clean, well-kept store environment. The role consistently achieves individual sales associate goals that support store goals. It reports to Store Leadership. Brand Representatives provide helpful guest experiences, build relationships and loyalty, complete sales and store operations, support loss prevention and inventory activities, and help maintain merchandise displays and store presentation. The position is part-time and seasonal at the Baybrook Mall location in Friendswood, Texas.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have the physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently.
May occasionally need to climb ladders and frequently climb and descend stairs, depending on location.
Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.

Responsibilities

Anticipate guests’ needs, exceed expectations, and follow Altar’d State service standards.
Acknowledge and interact with guests, build relationships, and create guest loyalty.
Communicate effectively with store management and guests.
Treat others fairly and respectfully, value differences, and avoid judging potential guests.
Act as a positive role model for fellow sales associates and support an environment of learning and trust.
Complete opening and closing procedures and sales associate tasks as directed by management, with a guest focus.
Locate merchandise effectively and maintain organization.
Perform register transactions quickly and efficiently; process transactions accurately and handle cash and provide change without error.
Follow loss prevention practices, identify and report potential incidents, and help control shortages and protect company assets.
Maintain a safe work environment and report potential hazards to leadership.
Participate in and assist with store inventory preparation.
Report to work as scheduled, accurately record time worked using the company time and attendance system, and remain flexible to business needs.
Assist with constructing merchandising and window displays.
Maintain a clean and presentable store environment.
Represent the brand by meeting appropriate dress and grooming standards.
