About The Position

The Brand Representative (Sales Associate) drives revenue and provides guests with exceptional service through relationship building, product knowledge sharing, and maintaining a clean, well-maintained store environment. The role consistently achieves individual sales goals that support store goals. It reports to Store Leadership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends.
• Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
• Must have the physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and/or squatting frequently; occasional ladder climbing and frequent stair climbing and descending may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests’ needs, exceed expectations, and follow Altar’d State service standards.
• Acknowledge and interact with guests, build relationships, and create guest loyalty.
• Communicate effectively with store management and guests.
• Treat others fairly and respectfully, value differences, and avoid judging potential guests.
• Act as a positive role model for fellow sales associates and support an environment of learning and trust.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and sales associate tasks as directed by management, with a guest focus.
• Locate merchandise effectively and maintain organization.
• Perform register transactions quickly and efficiently; process transactions accurately and handle cash and change without error.
• Follow loss prevention practices, report potential incidents, and help control shortages and protect company assets.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report potential hazards to leadership.
• Participate in and assist with store inventory preparation.
• Report to work as scheduled, accurately record time worked using the company’s time and attendance system, and remain flexible to business needs.
• Assist with constructing merchandising and window displays.
• Maintain a clean and presentable store environment.
• Represent the brand by following dress and grooming standards.
