About The Position

POP MART is hiring a seasonal Brand Ambassador for a temporary NYC pop-up exhibit in Manhattan. This guest-focused, high-energy role combines visitor experience, light performance, event support, and retail operations. The Brand Ambassador welcomes guests, helps bring the SKULLPANDA universe to life through scripted and spontaneous interactions, guides visitors through immersive exhibit spaces, and supports product sales and event activations. The role also involves reception and ticket handling, crowd-flow and capacity support, exhibit upkeep, POS transactions, merchandise and inventory tasks, and routine equipment checks. The position is suited to people with customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality, entertainment, or events who are available throughout the exhibit period, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality, entertainment, or events.
Confidence engaging guests in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to connect naturally with diverse audiences.
Genuine interest in POP MART, designer toys, art culture, or immersive experiences.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift merchandise weighing up to 40–50 pounds.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the full exhibit period.
Ability to bend, kneel, squat, reach overhead, and safely climb ladders or step stools.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and brand-appropriate energy.
Bring the SKULLPANDA universe to life through scripted moments, playful interactions, and spontaneous engagement.
Guide guests through immersive rooms, installations, and photo moments.
Deliver light performance elements, including scripted lines, character-inspired interactions, and guided moments.
Support interactive stations, giveaways, and event-based activations.
Assist with special events, VIP previews, and media activations.
Act as a subject-matter expert on POP MART IP, particularly SKULLPANDA.
Provide product recommendations and help guests make informed purchase decisions.
Manage visitor reception, ticket verification and redemption, and crowd flow.
Monitor traffic, assist with capacity management, and issue safety reminders when needed.
Inspect and maintain exhibits, installations, and on-site facilities to help ensure a clean, safe environment.
Operate POS systems to complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
Support exclusive merchandise launches, drops, and pop-up store operations.
Handle ticket gift distribution and inventory management.
Conduct routine equipment checks, report issues promptly, and assist with unexpected situations.
Perform retail tasks such as stocking merchandise, unpacking shipments, pricing products, and organizing inventory.
