About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Branch Supervisor for its Wilson, North Carolina location. The supervisor leads a team to become the “Best Local Supply House” by aligning sales strategy with customer experience and building strong local relationships. The role is responsible for meeting sales goals, improving customer satisfaction, developing associates, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and fostering a positive culture through effective leadership. The position reports to the Market Branch Manager and has direct oversight of 3 to 5 associates. The market opportunity is $13 million. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role may also include backup driver duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

Strong understanding of budgets and financials.
Experience creating and sustaining a high-performance culture.
Ability to identify team training needs and support associate development.
Ability to adapt to and engage with the local market culture and business environment.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid state-issued license required.

Nice To Haves

Experience building engaged and motivated sales teams.
Two or more years of industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

Manage P&L, sales growth, customer service, and associate development.
Build customer relationships and manage existing company-assigned customer accounts.
Carry out local sales plans with attention to customers’ needs.
Coordinate pricing, inventory control, and logistics to support daily business operations.
Lead sales, operations, and logistics associates, promoting a customer-first approach, accountability, and a high-performing, values-driven culture.
Promote and maintain a safety-first culture by following and reinforcing HSE policies and behaviors.
May provide backup driver duties and responsibilities.
