About The Position

The Branch Manager oversees the branch’s overall performance, leadership, and operational integrity. The role directs day-to-day operations, ensures compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements, manages risk, and maintains strong operational controls. The Branch Manager leads, develops, and coaches the branch team to achieve sales, service, and community engagement goals; drives branch growth; strengthens client relationships; and represents the bank in the local community. The position is accountable for maximizing branch revenue, sales, and customer satisfaction while minimizing operating losses. It deploys resources to support individual and team performance, manages promotional campaigns and product initiatives, conducts cold calls on prospective small business customers, maintains relationships with existing customers, and creates and manages the branch business plan. The role supervises professional-level employees and may supervise support employees, setting goals and ensuring policies and procedures are understood and followed. Other duties may be assigned. A bachelor’s degree is required, although an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. The role typically requires advanced knowledge in the assigned discipline and at least four years of prior leadership experience. The employee must be able to stand for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds. Travel may be required; reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license may be required, if applicable. NMLS registration may be required. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Typically requires at least 4 years of prior leadership experience.
Typically requires advanced knowledge and skills within the assigned discipline and practical knowledge of managing and leading within a job area.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 30 pounds.
May require travel; reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license may be required, if applicable.
May require obtaining and/or maintaining NMLS registration.

Conduct cold calls on prospective small business customers.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers.
Create and manage the branch business plan.
Represent the bank in local community organizations.
Set goals and objectives for team members and ensure policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
