About The Position

TRUE Community Credit Union is hiring a full-time Branch Manager to lead its Ypsilanti branches at 424 S. Mansfield St. and 1861 Whittaker Rd. The role provides leadership oversight of both locations, requires a regular on-site presence at each, and involves approximately 20% travel. The Branch Manager leads and develops a high-performing team and fosters a culture of service, relationship building, and member financial well-being. The position oversees branch operations and performance while supporting employees and helping members achieve their financial goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of financial institution experience.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to coach, develop, and support a service-based sales culture.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email/IM, and multiple technology platforms.
• Eligibility to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS).

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of direct leadership experience.
• Knowledge of credit union operations and the credit union movement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, develop, and support branch employees.
• Oversee daily branch operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow.
• Establish goals, monitor performance, and hold employees accountable through development conversations and action plans.
• Help staff resolve member concerns and answer questions about products and services.
• Monitor branch performance and profitability.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through processes and technology.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Represent TRUE Community Credit Union in the community through outreach and engagement activities.
• Build member relationships and support members' financial well-being.
