About The Position

FCCU is hiring a Branch Manager to direct the operations of a medium-sized credit union facility, typically staffed by one to four people. The manager ensures the branch meets organizational financial, operational, service, and growth plans and has limited lending authority. The role includes coaching staff in sales performance and reinforcing the credit union’s sales and service culture. The Branch Manager is responsible for business development and branch goals through relationships with members, sponsor organizations, suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups. Business development involves traveling to local businesses to build relationships and attract new members, as well as planning and attending events that may require lifting and carrying supplies. The role also requires in-person sales and service training at the Corporate Training Office in Tampa. The manager monitors branch results, takes steps to address unsatisfactory conditions, controls past-due and charged-off accounts, and underwrites consumer loans up to the limit assigned under credit union policy. The manager monitors branch activities for compliance with credit union policies and procedures, oversees completion and approval of required Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), and alerts the compliance officer to potentially suspicious conduct or transactions. The compliance officer determines whether a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) should be generated. The role directs, develops, coaches, motivates, hires, and disciplines branch personnel; administers performance evaluations; and recommends personnel actions. The manager also helps staff develop the sales and service skills needed to cross-sell credit union products and services. Employees receive ongoing training on their responsibilities under BSA/CIP/OFAC regulations and applicable internal policies and procedures. Other related duties may be assigned.
