Branch Coordinator - Floorcovering Installations
About The Position
The Branch Coordinator supports sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store and coordinates floorcovering installations through independent contractors for wholesale customers. The role helps identify installers, schedules installation work, and ensures installations meet customer expectations. The selected candidate will work at Store #2232, 1412 Antioch Pike Ste 301, Antioch, TN 37013-2773. The store's stated hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; the position may require working scheduled hours that include evenings and weekends. The position involves customer contact, which may include minors, and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. Because of this access, the company has determined that a criminal history review is necessary to protect its business, operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
- Be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
- Previous work experience selling floorcovering and/or floorcovering products.
- Prior work experience operating floorcovering cutting equipment.
- Previous work experience installing floorcovering.
- Carpet and Vinyl Installation Certification by the Carpet and Rug Institute.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Support sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store serving wholesale customers.
- Assist the Branch Manager in identifying floorcovering installers.
- Establish installation schedules and communicate assignments.
- Conduct on-site inspections of installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Review new and existing floorcovering installer accounts, including contacting outside sources for information.
- Ensure installer transactions are handled properly through the store computer operating system and that records are maintained properly.
- Determine floorcovering installation training needs and require training as appropriate.
