About The Position

Locke Supply Company is seeking an outgoing, energetic Branch Associate for its Miami, Oklahoma branch. The role provides customer service, product advice and recommendations, and product deliveries to customers. It suits someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically minded, and comfortable in a fun, fast-paced environment. The Branch Associate learns hands-on skills across multiple trades and helps customers find suitable, cost-effective solutions. The position also supports store organization, inventory tracking, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and preparation of equipment and supplies for upcoming jobs and deliveries. This is a full-time position. Branch operating hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; Saturday schedules may be adjusted at the Branch Manager’s discretion.

Requirements

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Willingness to pass a pre-employment physical examination.
Must pass a D.O.T. physical and drug test.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and offer product recommendations based on customer needs.
Help customers find cost-effective solutions.
Deliver products from the branch to customers.
Keep the retail store clean and organized.
Track inventory, fill orders, and ensure stock is ready for reorders.
Assist with shipping and receiving.
Prepare and oversee jobs for the next day by ensuring equipment and supplies are ready to be loaded onto the appropriate trucks.
