About The Position

Locke Supply Co. is seeking an employee-owner Branch Associate to support customers and the local trade community at its employee-owned plumbing, electrical, and HVAC supply business. The role emphasizes character, integrity, dependable work, customer service, and taking an ownership-minded approach to the branch’s success.

The Branch Associate assists customers with product recommendations and cost-effective solutions for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC projects; manages inventory and orders accurately; maintains a clean and organized branch and warehouse; and collaborates with coworkers on branch goals and operational needs. The associate also participates in training to build technical knowledge of trade products and technologies.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to building long-term customer relationships.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.

• A mechanically minded person with a desire to learn the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC trades.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly, professional attitude and provide product recommendations and cost-effective solutions for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC projects.
• Track inventory and manage orders accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional branch and warehouse, and take initiative to improve the branch.
• Work with the team to meet branch profit goals.
• Assist coworkers with deliveries, shipping, and receiving as needed.
• Participate in training programs to learn about trade products and technologies.
