About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Brake and Tire Auto Technician to perform light vehicle maintenance and repairs at a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The work includes routine technician inspections and maintenance, brake pad, caliper, and rotor repairs, tire installations, and wheel alignments. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees, with opportunities for skills and pay to progress along with the company. The role is part of Carvana’s vehicle reconditioning process, preparing inspected vehicles for customers. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, be able to understand English, and pass a background check. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
