About The Position

Carvana is hiring a Brake and Tire Technician to perform light maintenance and repairs at one of its vehicle Inspection Centers. The work includes routine technician services and inspections, basic repairs to brake pads, calipers, and rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support skill and pay progression. Applicants must have at least one year of professional automotive repair experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, with occasional exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments or equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and maintenance.
Perform basic brake repairs, including work on brake pads, calipers, and rotors.
Install tires and perform wheel alignments.
Perform light vehicle maintenance and repairs.
