About The Position

Drive local healthcare routes in the Hayward, California area, collecting and transporting medical waste and sharps containers while providing professional customer service at healthcare facilities. The role operates company vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks and involves managing assigned routes, making scheduled deliveries, completing vehicle inspections, and maintaining DOT compliance. Drivers load and unload containers throughout the day, organize the truck according to route needs, and communicate route changes or issues.

This is a permanent, full-time direct-hire position offering 40 hours per week on a four-day schedule of 10-hour shifts, with a 1:00 a.m. start time. Drivers must be willing to work one Saturday per month. Overtime opportunities are available. The stated pay rate is $26 per hour and is non-negotiable. New hires are offered a $3,000 sign-on bonus, paid as $1,000 after 30 days and $2,000 after 90 days of employment. Full-time roles include benefits, sick leave, and vacation leave from day one.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• DOT medical card.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers.
• Customer-focused mindset with a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Commitment to safe driving and on-time delivery practices.
• Willingness to work one Saturday per month.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers.
• Operate company vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks.
