About The Position

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is hiring a dependable, safety-minded Non-CDL Driver to support local healthcare routes in the Stow, Ohio area. The driver collects and transports medical waste and sharps containers, operates company vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks, and provides professional customer service at healthcare facilities. The role is based at 5010 Hudson Drive, Stow, OH 44224.

This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week, scheduled for four 10-hour weekdays on the first shift, approximately 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The rate is a non-negotiable $24 per hour for this role. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is paid in two installments: $1,000 after 30 days and $2,000 after 90 days of employment. Full-time roles include benefits, sick leave, and vacation leave from day one. Overtime opportunities are available.

Daniels Health provides safety systems and regulated waste collection services for hospitals and other healthcare customers. The company collects and treats medical waste at facilities across the United States, aiming to improve infection control, reduce needlestick injuries, and reduce customers’ environmental footprint.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, and a DOT medical card.
• Professional experience operating 26-foot box trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Confidence completing Level 1–3 DOT road checks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers.
• Customer-focused mindset and a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Commitment to safe driving and on-time delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers.
• Operate company vehicles up to 26-foot box trucks.
• Manage assigned local routes and provide timely, reliable service.
• Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain DOT compliance, including logs and roadside inspections.
• Load and unload containers throughout the day, including heavy lifting.
• Organize and prioritize the truck based on route needs.
• Build positive relationships with healthcare customers through professional, friendly service.
