About The Position

The Box Printer operates and maintains packaging machinery, applying creative and innovative thinking along with knowledge of packaging materials, date-code requirements, computer systems, and machine operation. This position works a 2nd-shift, 10-hour schedule from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday.

The role includes preparing the machine for daily startup and shutdown, following the production schedule, making operator adjustments, performing quality checks, and repairing the machine as needed. The Box Printer determines packaging-material requirements for scheduled jobs, maintains downtime logs, and completes required paperwork. The position also follows quality assurance processes for Food Defense, HACCP, and allergens, complies with safety requirements, operates a forklift to move materials, and uses various computer programs.

Requirements

• High school degree, GED, or equivalent.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Suite, Google products, and other programs.
• Ability to work alone or as a member of a team.
• Good cooperative skills.
• May require flexibility in scheduling.

Nice To Haves

• Above-average mechanical skills.
• Forklift experience, including sit-down or stand-up forklifts.
• Detail-oriented, quick learner with the ability to work within deadlines.
• At least 2 years of operational experience in a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
