About The Position

Box Office Hosts welcome cinema guests and maintain extensive knowledge of the show schedule, seating chart, sales, marketing efforts, loyalty program, and other operational programs. The role focuses on exceeding guest satisfaction by providing personal attention and taking ownership of excellent service. Hosts listen to guest concerns, respond with empathy, find solutions, and follow through. They help guests buy tickets and navigate the cinema while supporting a quality movie-going and brewpub experience.

Ability to stand and walk for long periods, reach, bend, stoop, frequently lift up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a pleasant, upbeat attitude and thank guests as they leave.
Answer telephone calls politely and promptly.
Refer guest complaints and concerns to management with a sense of urgency.
Sell tickets and maintain accurate ticketing and guest seating for shows.
Know current and upcoming movie storylines, marketing programs, menu items, and prices; inform guests of their choices.
Use positive up-selling and suggestive-selling practices.
Receive payments, provide correct change, and accurately control assigned cash drawers.
Use the cinema's point-of-sale terminals for every sale and follow company procedures for using them.
Wear the company uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
Keep the work station clean and clean designated areas each shift, along with other areas as directed by management.
Care for the cinema and its equipment.
Assist guests to the fullest extent possible.
