About The Position

This position is intended for a current student at McGill University who has been accepted to the Work Study program. The Box Office Attendant will conduct in-person and telephone ticket sales using a web-based ticketing system, balance and account for credit and debit card receipts of daily transactions, distribute reserved tickets, and answer phone inquiries regarding concert schedules, programs, and locations. Other duties may be assigned. The position requires the ability to multitask and work well under pressure, with a professional and proactive demeanor. Availability for days, evenings, and weekends is necessary, with flexible hours that vary by month based on event activity. A high level of conversational French and English is required. Knowledge of English is essential for day-to-day duties, assessed at a level # on a scale of 0-4. To work at McGill University, candidates must be authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec.
