About The Position

This position is responsible for promoting exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient, and friendly service. The Bartender will efficiently take drink orders, enter them into the POS system, and handle payment methods appropriately. They will prepare food and drink orders and promptly deliver them to guests. A key responsibility is mixing ingredients and preparing cocktails and other drinks as requested, as well as pouring and mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures. The role also involves maintaining a neat and clean station, ensuring responsible alcohol service, and reporting any health or safety needs immediately to the supervisor. The Bartender will keep the Supervisor informed of operational concerns including recipes, inventory, and supply needs, and maintain daily pour cost, inventory, and cleanliness of the work area. Stocking of beer, wine, liquor, ice, mixers, and dry goods, as well as washing and stocking glassware and utensils, are also required. The position requires adherence to company policies, regulatory laws, codes, and department procedures, and promoting internal guest service standards with courteous and respectful behavior towards co-workers. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Six (6) months of alcohol or food service experience.
  • Effective communication auditory acuity, able to respond to questions and provide information.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and abilities that promote positive guest services.
  • Stand or walk for long periods; perform routine bending and lifting of product up to 20lbs.; perform the repetitive motion of arms, hands, wrists, and fingers; occasionally lift and maneuver up to 50lbs; and work in a varied (hot, cold, smoky) environment.
  • Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  • Possess or obtain a Food Handlers and OLCC certificates within 30 days of employment.
  • Requires a criminal history background check.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Cocktail serving or bartending experience within the past two years.

Responsibilities
