About The Position

The Boutique Assistant supports the Sales Associates and helps deliver an exceptional client experience through daily boutique maintenance and operations, Reception assistance, and active participation in the Van Cleef & Arpels Service Excellence Ceremony. The role reports to the Sales Manager and helps ensure the boutique operates smoothly while upholding the Maison’s image, service protocols, and standards. The position includes training on the Maison’s history, know-how, and creations. Applicants must have valid work authorization for employment in the USA. Compensation is $25.00–$27.00 per hour, negotiated based on skills and prior work experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Computer proficiency.
• Excellent communication and verbal abilities for interacting with customers and colleagues.
• Proactive and adaptable approach suited to a dynamic retail environment.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and support boutique operations.
• Valid work authorization for employment in the USA.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of experience in a fast-paced luxury environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP software.
• Fluency in multiple languages.

Responsibilities

• Replenish selling-floor supplies, including shopping bags and wrapping paper, as needed.
• Participate in setting up and breaking down the boutique at opening and closing.
• Handle morning jewelry setup and evening jewelry pulling, and maintain backstock.
• Accurately backfill POS stations and desks.
• Partner with Management and Boutique Administrators to ensure merchandise is kept in proper condition.
• Greet clients and assist with Reception duties.
• Follow Management and Corporate protocols for the client experience.
• Maintain a professional demeanor, uphold the Van Cleef & Arpels image, and follow the Service Charter.
• Provide support to Sales Associates and assist with daily boutique maintenance and operations.
• Participate consistently and actively in the Van Cleef & Arpels Service Excellence Ceremony.
