About The Position

As a part-time Keyholder at Rothy’s Ala Moana store, you will help create a service-first sales-floor culture and support smooth store operations. You will model exceptional customer service, coach team members in the moment, and uphold operational excellence. As part of the leadership team, you may serve as Manager on Duty, ensuring the store reflects Rothy’s brand standards and values. The role focuses primarily on customer experience and selling, with additional responsibilities in team leadership and operations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience, ideally with some leadership responsibility.
• Proven ability to connect with customers and deliver exceptional service.
• Experience supporting operational tasks such as merchandising, shipment, or stockroom leadership.
• Desire to grow leadership skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift.
• Ability to lift, push, carry, or otherwise move up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, and stretch, and to safely use ladders and step stools.
• Ability to follow the dress code, including wearing Rothy’s shoes during every shift.
• Availability to work at least 16 hours per week, either three peak days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays) or two peak days plus two non-peak days (Monday through Thursday).

Responsibilities

• Lead and model the Rothy’s Experience on the sales floor, coaching team members to uphold brand standards.
• Drive personal and team sales results through customer service, coaching, and team selling.
• Build lasting customer relationships through clienteling.
• Assist with in-store events and activations that engage the local community, build brand awareness, and drive sales.
• Support onboarding and training by reinforcing store standards, SOPs, service expectations, selling behaviors, and product knowledge.
• Act as Manager on Duty when assigned, ensuring daily operations, visual merchandising tasks, and service expectations are met.
• Own assigned areas of responsibility through the Division of Responsibility program and communicate progress, opportunities, and feedback to store leadership.
