About The Position

The BOSS (Buy Online Ship from Store) Fulfillment Associate supports the customer shopping experience by using inventory across retail locations to fulfill orders. The role involves receiving and inspecting merchandise, picking and sorting items, matching products to orders, packing them appropriately, and loading merchandise for shipment to direct customers and retail stores. Merchandise must be handled to maintain its quality and appearance. Associates may work in different back-room fulfillment functions as needed and may also assist customers on the sales floor during store hours. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Ability to follow through on order processing, including properly closing orders in the BOSS system.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to read label descriptions and stock merchandise by UPC codes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to operate receiving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect merchandise in the retail store’s back room.
• Fill retail and direct-customer orders by inspecting items, matching them to orders, and pulling merchandise from designated stock locations.
• Sort merchandise into order groupings and pack it in appropriate containers or cartons for shipment.
• Apply designated labels and visually inspect merchandise for quality and presentation.
• Move merchandise among warehouse locations using authorized material-handling equipment or manually load and unload trailers.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness and follow procedures for a safe work environment.
• Attend mandatory training and in-services, including orientation, safety, and job-skills training.
• Assist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions while working on the sales floor during store hours.
• Communicate issues or needs affecting job execution, including short picks, out-of-stocks, on-hand counts, and supplies.
• Follow order processing through to properly closing orders in the BOSS system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
