About The Position

The BOSS (Buy Online Ship from Store) Fulfillment Associate supports the customer shopping experience by fulfilling orders using inventory across retail locations. The role handles merchandise for shipment to direct customers and retail stores, including receiving, inspecting, sorting, picking, packing, and loading. Merchandise must be handled to maintain its quality and appearance. Associates may work in different back-room fulfillment areas as needed and may assist customers on the sales floor during store hours.

The position works under general supervision using established procedures and occasional independent judgment. Associates may recommend improvements to work procedures, policies, and practices. This is a part-time position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Follow order processing through to properly closing orders in the BOSS system.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Read label descriptions and stock merchandise by UPC codes.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Operate receiving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect merchandise and fulfill retail and direct-customer orders.
• Sort merchandise into order groupings and pack it in appropriate containers, cartons, or packaging for shipment.
• Apply designated labels and visually inspect products for quality and presentation.
• Match merchandise to orders, pull products from designated stock locations, and place them in proper containers.
• Move merchandise among warehouse locations using authorized material-handling equipment or manually load and unload trailers.
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness and follow safe-work procedures.
• Attend mandatory training and in-services, including orientation, safety, and job-skills training.
• Assist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions when working on the sales floor during store hours.
• Communicate issues or needs affecting job execution, including short picks, out-of-stocks, on-hand counts, and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
