About The Position

Tacodeli is hiring an Early Morning BOH/Cook for its South Lamar location. Back of House Team Members may work in a variety of kitchen positions. They prepare food using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and scratch-made recipes, including house-made salsas and prepared proteins. Team members learn multiple kitchen stations, help prepare ingredients for daily service, and contribute to the quality and consistency of the food served. They work collaboratively in a supportive, team-oriented environment and help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and food-safe. The role offers opportunities to learn new skills and grow into restaurant leadership.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods.
• Able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights.
• Able to lift at least 10 pounds frequently.
• Show up on time, ready to work, and committed to teammates.
• Take pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace and enjoy teamwork and learning new skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and follow scratch-made recipes.
• Prepare ingredients for daily service.
• Learn and work across multiple kitchen stations.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and contribute to food safety.
• Prepare tacos, bowls, and other menu items with attention to detail and consistency.
• Work collaboratively with the team and contribute ideas for improving how work is done.

• Average earnings of $17.00 per hour, including base pay and tip share.
