About The Position

Tacodeli is hiring an early-morning Back of House Team Member/Cook at its South Lamar location. The role involves preparing scratch-made food with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, learning and working across multiple kitchen stations, and contributing to a clean, organized kitchen where food safety is a shared responsibility. Team members work collaboratively to provide consistent, high-quality food and hospitality, and may contribute ideas to improve kitchen operations. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, and reach for objects on shelves at various heights.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds frequently.
• Punctuality, attention to detail, teamwork, and willingness to learn are expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
• Learn and prepare scratch-made recipes, including house-made salsas and proteins.
• Learn and work at multiple kitchen stations.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and follow food-safety practices.
• Prepare ingredients for daily service.
• Prepare tacos, bowls, and other menu items with attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively with the team and contribute ideas for improving operations.

• Average earnings of $17.00 per hour, including base pay and tip share.
