About The Position

Anderson of St. Joseph is seeking a full-time Body Shop Painter to join its customer-focused team. The company is family-owned, rooted in Nebraska, and has operated in St. Joseph, Missouri, for more than 40 years. The role involves painting, polishing, and detailing vehicles, confirming completed repairs meet industry standards, and performing related assembly, maintenance, and other assigned work. The position requires attention to detail, a safety focus, teamwork, a friendly customer-oriented attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The work environment may include noise, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, be authorized to work in the United States, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
At least 5 years of body shop experience required.
Good driving record and valid driver’s license required.
Must be able to stand for extended lengths of time.
Must be able to bend, squat, and lift repeatedly throughout the workday.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Perform paint jobs.
Polish and detail vehicles.
Verify completed repairs meet industry standards.
Perform related work as required, including assembly and maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
Manage multiple tasks and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
