About The Position

Carvana is hiring Auto Body Preppers to perform light bodywork on vehicles at its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles; removing and installing bumpers; minor plastic welding; and small-area bodywork, including Bondo repair. The role pays $23–$27 per hour. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees, with the intent of progressing employees’ skills and pay as the company grows. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Employment is contingent on passing a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
