About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Prepper to perform light bodywork on vehicles at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles; removing and installing bumpers; minor plastic welding; and small-area bodywork, including Bondo repair. The role pays $23–$27 per hour. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to help their skills and pay progress. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Applicants must pass a complete background check; visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Able to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

• Prep, sand, and buff vehicles.
