About The Position

Bell Ford Collision Center is hiring a Body Shop Painter's Helper to support paint technicians in producing high-quality automotive finishes. The role is suited to someone with automotive body shop experience who wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced, professional environment. The position is full-time and pays $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience (DOE), with semi-monthly pay. Opportunities for skills development, training, and career advancement are offered. Requirements

• Previous experience in an automotive paint or body shop environment is required.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is preferred in the requirements section and is also listed as a pre-employment requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist painters with vehicle preparation, including sanding, masking, cleaning, and surface preparation.
• Mix and match paint colors under the guidance of experienced paint technicians.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the paint shop, work areas, and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and handle paint materials, tools, and equipment properly.
• Assist the body shop team with additional duties as needed to maintain an efficient workflow.
