About The Position

RAM Machine Products, LLC. (RMP) is a U.S.-based manufacturer specializing in the design, production, and supply of Shoulder Plugs for Air Cooled Heat Exchangers. The company emphasizes trust, support, open and honest communication, collaboration, and creative solutions.

The Shop Helper supports production operations by using basic shop equipment and performing secondary processing tasks. The role also includes moving and organizing materials and products, maintaining a safe and orderly work area, following work instructions, and assisting other departments to help meet production and quality goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate basic shop equipment such as drills, grinders, and manual cutting tools.
• Ability to read basic work instructions and follow directions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with shop safety practices.
• Team-oriented approach and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more regularly.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in hot and/or dusty environments with noisy conditions.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime as necessary.
• Must be open to working some weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
• Forklift experience.
• Shipping and receiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic shop equipment, including belt sanders, bar stampers, scales, and thread rollers.
• Perform secondary operations such as sanding, stamping, grinding, cutting, and packaging.
• Handle, move, and organize raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety standards.
• Follow work instructions and support production processes to meet quality and output goals.
• Assist other departments as needed to support production and operational efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
