About The Position

Frazer is hiring an entry-level Shop Helper to support its Fabrication team in producing emergency medical vehicles and mobile healthcare units. This hands-on role supports production wherever needed, including smoothing metal surfaces, sealing joints, and installing flooring and graphics on box modules. The role suits someone who is willing to learn manufacturing skills, work carefully, and rotate among production tasks and work centers.

Requirements

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and specifications accurately.
Willingness to learn and rotate across different production tasks as needed.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with air tools and measuring instruments.
A track record of personal accountability and following procedures.
Habit of double-checking work before considering it complete.

Responsibilities

Check in with the Production Supervisor each morning about the day's priorities.
Deburr and sand metal parts to meet finish specifications.
Apply chemical sealant to joints and check coverage before parts move forward.
Measure and cut vinyl flooring for installation in box modules.
Install conspicuity graphics and labels according to build specifications.
Inspect completed work using gauges and measuring instruments.
Rotate to different work centers to cover production needs.
Flag part-quality issues before parts move further down the production line.
