Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience as a Body Shop Metal or Paint Technician
- Solid working knowledge of body shop tools and equipment
- Basic mechanical understanding of automotive systems
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- must be 18 years or older
Responsibilities
- Examine damaged vehicles and determine proper repair procedures
- Perform metal, structural, and collision repairs to factory, safety, and insurance standards
- Conduct parts inventory to ensure accurate collision repairs
- Track repair progress and coordinate timelines for final assembly
- Complete repair orders and documentation accurately
- Properly use and maintain shop tools and equipment
- Perform automotive paint repairs to manufacturer and safety standards
- Edge all parts immediately upon drop‑off from metal technicians
- Review completed work to ensure high‑quality paint finishes
- Accurately track time using company clocking procedures
- Document all work performed on repair orders
