About The Position

Velocity Flow Technologies is seeking a Prep Paint Technician for their evening and day shifts. This role involves preparing parts for painting by cleaning them and hanging them, as well as applying powder coat paint and/or wet paint. The company is looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, can read blueprints, and use a tape measure. While training is available, prior experience in painting parts is preferred. The positions are located at Spectrum Metalcraft and Vortex Global in Salina, KS.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Experienced in painting parts with powder coat paint and/or wet paint application.
• Ability to prep parts before painting by blowing off dust, washing, hanging etc.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to read a tape measure with ease.

Nice To Haves

• Technical training and or work experience painting parts preferred.
