About The Position
We are seeking a reliable Paint Prep Technician to assist with surface preparation, masking, and taping for painting projects. This role is essential to ensuring clean, professional finishes by properly protecting surfaces and preparing materials before paint application.
Requirements
- Previous experience in paint prep, masking, or general labor preferred
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Dependable and punctual
Responsibilities
- Mask and tape surfaces to protect areas not being painted
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed
- Assist painters with setup and cleanup of painting area
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
