About The Position

As part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Drury Moss Collision, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. Our team is dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while making the repair process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our customers. We're currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Paint Prep Technician.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License
Safe working knowledge of paint tools and equipment
Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude, strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

Ability to spray is a plus
I-CAR Certification in body repair preferred
knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer (OEM Certified Preferred)
I-CAR / Paint Line certified a plus
1 Year Collision paint prep experience a plus

Responsibilities

Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair and status
Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind
Performing work as outlined on repair orders
Performing prep, sanding, wiping, bagging, buffing as needed by the paint shop
Operating all equipment in the collision center in a safe and productive manner
Following Safety Standards for the use of personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) while working
Inspecting all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completed
Mixing all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications
