About The Position

Van Horn Automotive Group is hiring a Body Shop Advisor for its Manitowoc location to write estimates and assist in managing the body shop operation. The role is part of a growing, busy automotive body shop team and focuses on customer care throughout the repair process. The company has more than 18 locations in Wisconsin and over 800 employees. Its employee-ownership program provides company-funded contributions to a qualified retirement plan. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Previous estimating experience.
Understanding and knowledge of collision repair centers and processes.

Nice To Haves

Previous auto body collision repair experience.

Responsibilities

Meet with customers to determine the need for repairs.
Compute the cost of parts, labor, and repairs.
Schedule customers for repairs.
Work with insurance companies.
Follow up with customers during the repair process.
