About The Position
Toyota of Melbourne and Platinumwerks Collision Center, located in Melbourne on Florida’s Central East Coast, provides collision repairs to customers in the Central Florida region. The center is certified for Audi Aluminum, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Toyota repairs. It is seeking a skilled, professional Auto Body Estimator to support its standards for collision-repair quality and customer expectations. The estimator examines damaged vehicles, identifies related and unrelated repairs in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and safety standards, verifies parts needed for estimates against insurance and manufacturer guidelines, and maintains accurate documentation for each repair order. The position is full-time, with base pay plus performance-based commission.
Requirements
- Goal-oriented.
- Industry knowledge of CCC1 estimating software and Reynolds & Reynolds (DMS).
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
- Must pass background and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Examine damaged vehicles and identify related and unrelated repairs in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and safety standards, working with technicians.
- Verify the accuracy of parts required to complete estimates in accordance with insurance and manufacturer guidelines.
- Provide proper documentation and record-keeping for each repair order.
- Maintain existing I-CAR status and pursue ASE and other OEM certification classes.
