About The Position

Van Horn Manitowoc is seeking a Body Shop Advisor to write estimates and assist in managing the body shop operation. The role is part of a growing, busy automotive body shop team in Manitowoc. The advisor meets with customers to identify repair needs, estimates the cost of parts, labor, and repairs, schedules repairs, works with insurance companies, and follows up with customers throughout the repair process.

The Van Horn Automotive Group has more than 18 locations throughout Wisconsin and over 800 employees. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous estimating experience.
• Understand and have knowledge of collision repair centers and processes.

Nice To Haves

• Previous auto body collision repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to determine the need for repairs.
• Compute the cost of parts, labor, and repair.
• Schedule customers for repairs.
• Work with insurance companies.
