About The Position

Crown Collision Center is seeking a motivated, skilled Body Shop Estimator to help drive business and establish the facility as a premier collision repair center. The Estimator is the primary customer contact and coordinates the activities and resources needed to meet customer requirements, from the estimate request through delivery of the repaired vehicle. The role includes preparing accurate damage appraisals, following up with customers, monitoring repairs for quality, communicating vehicle status, and presenting the repaired vehicle to the customer.

The position’s hours are 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m.–noon one Saturday per month. Crown Collision Center is part of the family-owned Crown Automotive Group, which has operated for 57 years. Requirements

• Experience as an estimator.
• Full knowledge of estimating systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent work habits.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and punctual.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Have a current, valid, clean driver's license held for three years.

• Knowledge of metal, refinish, replacement, and repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for customers.
• Coordinate activities and resources from the estimate request through delivery of the repaired vehicle.
• Write accurate damage appraisals using company guidelines for pricing and quality.
• Perform written and/or telephone follow-up contact.
• Monitor vehicle progress throughout the repair process and ensure it meets quality standards.
• Provide customers with information about vehicle status.
• Deliver and present repaired vehicles to customers.
