About The Position
Wee Care Liberty POST is seeking a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) in Dyer, Indiana, and surrounding areas. BCBA therapists provide services in clinics in Dyer and/or Portage and make home visits in surrounding areas. The position provides therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders, evaluates and monitors children’s progress, and records evaluations, treatment, and progress in an electronic medical record system. Wee Care, established in 1994, is a pediatric intervention services provider in northwest Indiana and the southern Chicago suburbs. In Fall 2024, Wee Care joined Liberty POST, an early intervention agency that provides individualized services. Liberty POST uses a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play, with attention to children’s natural learning environments, families’ strengths and needs, and the diverse population served. Responsibilities
- Provide BCBA therapy for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disorders.
- Evaluate, monitor, and track each child’s progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Test and evaluate children’s abilities to determine realistic goals.
- Record initial evaluations, treatment, and progress in a timely manner using an electronic medical record system.
