About The Position
Board Certified Behavior Analyst — Clinical & Methodology Leadership. This role is designed to counter the burnout often associated with traditional BCBA positions by offering reasonable caseloads, clinical autonomy, mentorship opportunities, and operational support. The aim is to allow clinicians to focus on clinical work rather than excessive paperwork. The company, founded in 2016 by a BCBA with extensive experience, operates five clinics across Southern California and Georgia, delivering evidence-based therapy through its proprietary S.O.C.I.A.L. P.O.D.S. methodology. They serve a diverse client base, including insurance-funded, private pay, open play, and camp participants, emphasizing clinical quality and people-centric values. The S.O.C.I.A.L. P.O.D.S. methodology is a pod-based group ABA therapy model focusing on social skills, behavior intervention, and individualized goals within a structured group dynamic. Each pod consists of 3-6 clients grouped by age, skill level, and goal alignment, with a facilitator-to-client ratio of 1:3. On-site supervisors provide real-time coaching and support, ensuring no clinician works in isolation. The service model includes both push-in group work and pull-out 1:1 intensive instruction. KEBM serves all clients equally, regardless of funding source or participation type, fostering an inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Active BCBA Certification with BACB in good standing
- Master's degree required
- 2+ years post-certification experience
- CA BCBAs must hold active licensure where required
- GA BCBAs must hold active LBA license
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years post-BCBA clinical experience
- Prior supervisory or clinical leadership experience
- Specialized populations (early intervention, feeding, toileting, adolescent/adult)
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- LBA license in Georgia (for GA-based roles)
Responsibilities
- Own your clinical caseload with full authority — FBAs, treatment plans, intervention design, progress evaluation, program modification.
- Supervise and mentor BCaBAs, Program Supervisors, and Program Supervisor Trainees — BACB-compliant supervision for certification-track candidates, with genuine mentorship baked in.
- Contribute to KEBM's S.O.C.I.A.L. P.O.D.S. methodology evolution — curriculum development, intervention refinement, clinical protocol updates.
- Deliver direct clinical services on complex cases — crisis stabilization, high-fidelity modeling, specialized interventions.
- Partner with families, schools, and external stakeholders — parent training, IEP meetings, interdisciplinary care coordination.
- Participate in clinical strategy and quality improvement — program evaluation, outcome measurement, clinical audits.
